US Orienteering Team Trials for WOC 2010

Harriman State Park, Jackie Jones & Rockhouse Mountain Maps from
WOC '93
Embargo: Competitors hoping to run eligibly in the Team
Trials 2010 are, effective since Oct. 2009, prohibted from entering the
Jackie Jones & Rockhouse mountain mapped areas (aside from roads
for travel to other venues.)
When:
May 15-16, 2010
What:
Team Trials courses (Red & Blue), not part of a USOF A-event
this year. Hosted by DVOA.

The team to represent the US at WOC
2010, to be held in Norway, in August, will be selected based on
these Team Trials races, and in part on the USOF rankings preceding the
Trials. See, the detailed
rules if desired.

The United States Team for the 2010 World Orienteering Championships:
Start Info:
Random, each day, with Trialers segregated and starting earlier. Please
note that if
you miss your start time you will have the option of (a) starting as
soon as you arrive at the start, with your official time starting at
your originally scheduled start time (e.g. if you're 30 seconds late,
you'd likely want to do this), or (b) you may ask for a later start,
for comparison purposes ONLY - your result will not be eligible for
Team Trials
if you reschedule your start time.
Scoring List Potential Exceptions:
The review panel that will consider exceptions will consist of:

The following people are eligible as a potential exception to the Team
Trials scoring list due to
- (A) outstanding performance in the Rankings and the previous US
Champs, or
- (B) out of the country status.
